If you have a kid who loves imagining and building with LEGO® blocks, or if you're an oversized kid like me who has never outgrown a love of LEGO blocks, you'll be interested to know that LEGO KidsFest 2014 is coming to the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis for the first time ever on Nov. 7-9.

In conjunction with this interactive celebration of LEGO awesomeness, They're Our Kids is giving away a pair of tickets to the opening session of LEGO KidsFest to one lucky Villager!

What is LEGO KidsFest?

LEGO KidsFest is a nationally touring hands-on interactive experience for LEGO lovers of all ages and building-skill levels. There are millions of LEGO blocks spread out over more than 150,000 square feet of space, allowing builders to let their imaginations loose.

There are life-sized displays, construction zones, activities, entertainment and more. Some of what families will discover at the LEGO KidsFest includes:

  • LEGO Model Gallery: dozens of life-sized models made entirely from LEGO bricks
  • LEGO Master Builders: live demonstrations and activities from professional LEGO builders
  • Creation Nation: build your own creation to add to a custom map of the U.S.
  • Race Ramps: build your own custom car, and race it down the ramp against friends and family
  • LEGO Friends: build for the five empowered friends from Heartlake City
  • LEGO Ninjago: spin the way to being a Spinjitzu member
  • LEGO Mindstorms: build and program robots and snakes
  • LEGO City: use your imagination to create buildings and vehicles to the urban diorama
  • The LEGO Movie: build with your favorite friends from the hit film
  • LEGO Mixels: defend the world from the annoying Nixels
  • LEGO Hero Factory: create your own hero or villain to populate the city’s battle zone
  • LEGO Star Wars: help Yoda to build and fight the Dark Side
  • Construction Zone: creative free build, play and display areas
  • LEGO DUPLO®: younger visitors can explore imagination through building
  • LEGO Retail and KidsFest Marketplace: purchase LEGO and official KidsFest tour merchandise
  • Big Brick Pile: a gigantic pile full of LEGO bricks for creative play and enjoyment
  • Monochromatic Build: bricks of a single color to foster group creativity
  • Brickscapes: fantastic displays that combine lots of LEGO and DUPLO sets
