They're Our Kids and Macaroni Kid - Hendricks are teaming up to host an inaugural Hendricks County Youth Fair on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Danville Community High School.
The two go-to websites for families in Hendricks County are inviting youth sports organizations from all over the county to set up informational booths at this event to showcase what they have to offer Hendricks County kids, to sign up athletes, and to add people to their mailing lists.
Organizations are also encouraged to provide an activity for kids while their representatives talk to parents.
While having a multitude of youth sports organizations in one online spot on They're Our Kids is nice place for Hendricks County parents to begin their research, nothing replaces face-to-face interactions and the ability to compare and contrast a variety of sports, teams and leagues.
To that end, TOK and Macaroni Kid want to provide parents a look at what's available in the area, as well as an opportunity for youth sports organizations to let parents know that they exist.
The Hendricks County Youth Sports Fair will be free to attend.
TOK and Macaroni Kid have already been contacting local youth sports organizations via social media, email and USPS mail with registration information, but if you know of, or are involved with, an organization that has not received information on how to participate, you can download the letter and form below.
Villagers, make plans to attend the Hendricks County Youth Sports Fair on January 25 to learn about the great area opportunities available to OUR KIDS!
And youth sports organizations, make sure you get your registration in to Meghan Stritar at Macaroni Kid by January 15!
